REFUND POLICY

At OGPD, we strive to provide our valued delegates with the best experience when it comes to our conferences. We understand, however, that there may be circumstances where a refund is necessary. This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing refunds for conference registrations made through our online platform.

Important: Please note that all refunds will be issued in the form of credit vouchers (OGPD Credit Vouchers or OCVs) usable for future OGPD conferences or events only.

Refund Eligibility:

Refunds are not available for Fully Funded Delegates, as application fee paid under Fully Funded category is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Self-Funded Delegates and Direct Entrance Delegates may be eligible for an OGPD Credit Voucher under the following conditions:

  • The full conference fee has been paid in full upfront (not installments).
  • A written refund request is submitted via email to info@theogpd.org at least 45 days before the conference start date.

OGPD Credit Voucher (OCV) Details:

  • To obtain an OCV, email our registration team at info@theogpd.org
  • OCVs are valid for one year from the date of issuance.
  • OCVs can only be used for OGPD-organized conferences.

Cancellation Fees:

If the delegate opt for an installment plan to pay registration amount, and only the first installment of the conference fee has been paid by the delegate, the first installment will be retained as a cancellation fee, and no OCV will be issued.

Cancellation fees for Self-Funded Delegates and Direct Entrance Delegates requesting an OCV via email are as follows:

  • Between 30 and 15 days prior to the conference: 50% cancellation fee, remaining balance refunded as OCV.
  • Between 14 and 0 days prior to the conference (or no-show): 100% cancellation fee, no refund.

Refund Request Process:

To request an OGPD Credit Voucher, please send an email to info@theogpd.org with the subject line: “Refund Request – [Conference Name]”.

Email should include Your full name, Order number, Reason for refund request, Supporting documentation (if applicable).

OGPD Credit Voucher (OCV) Terms & Conditions:

  • Redemption Period: Valid for 1 year from the date of issuance.
  • Non-Transferable: Only usable by the original recipient.
  • No Cash Value: Cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • Partial Redemption: Any remaining balance after using the OCV will be carried forward for future use.
  • Usage Limitation: Only applicable for OGPD conference registrations.

Special Circumstances:

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to modify, postpone, cancel, or change speakers, topics, dates, times, and locations without liability. We will update any changes on our website or social media.

In the case of unforeseen events beyond our control (force majeure events like natural disasters or acts of terrorism), OGPD reserves the right to review refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Travel Reimbursement Policy (Fully Funded Delegates):

Fully Funded Delegates who attend the entire conference will receive a form to complete for travel reimbursement. The form will request basic information and bank account details. Reimbursement processing can take 4-8 weeks after receiving the completed form.

Invitation Only Category:

The registration fee for the Invitation Letter is non-refundable and non-transferable. Securing a visa is solely the delegate’s responsibility. The institute will only provide an invitation letter for visa assistance purposes.

Policy Amendments:

OGPD reserves the right to amend this refund policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated through the official OGPD website.

By registering for an OGPD conference, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this refund policy.

Terms and Conditions

By applying to attend the Global Change Summit 2024, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  • The application fee paid for the Fully Funded category are non-refundable and non-transferable, as it cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including disqualification, withdrawal, or non-selection.
  • Selection for the funded slots is based on merit. OGPD will notify applicants of their status through email. The final decision regarding selection is at the sole discretion of OGPD, and no appeals will be entertained. However, people applying under Self-Funded category will get their confirmation on spot.
  • All attendees are expected to behave ethically and respectfully throughout the event. OGPD maintains a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, or any other form of inappropriate conduct. Attendees exhibiting such behavior may be removed from the event without refund.
  • OGPD reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised program, speakers, topics, venue, and/or dates of the event at any time without notice. Any changes will be updated on our website and social handles. OGPD is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising as a result of such changes.
  • In the event of postponement or cancellation of the summit, OGPD shall not be liable for any resulting costs, including travel and accommodation. Refunds will not be issued for postponed events, and the organization is not responsible for any financial losses incurred by attendees due to such changes.
  • By attending the Global Change Summit 2024, attendees grant OGPD the right to capture their image or likeness in photographs, videos, or other media. These materials may be used for promotional, marketing, or educational purposes without compensation or prior approval from attendees.
  • OGPD is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to attendees or their personal property during the summit. Attendees participate at their own risk. Additionally, OGPD shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from event modifications, substitutions, or cancellations.
  • By applying for the summit, you consent to OGPD collecting and processing your personal data for the purposes of event management. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
