Terms and Conditions for Applicants of the World Leaders Convention 2025

By applying for the World Leaders Convention 2025, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. These terms become binding upon submission of your application, and acceptance of these conditions is a mandatory step to complete the application process.

1. Eligibility and Application Submission

1.1. Applicants must fulfill all eligibility criteria outlined on the official event website at the time of application submission.

1.2. All submitted information must be accurate, complete, and verifiable. Any falsification, omission, or misleading details may result in disqualification without prior notice.

1.3. OGPD will notify applicants of their status through email. The final decision regarding selection is at the sole discretion of OGPD, and no appeals will be entertained. However, people applying under the Self-Funded category will get their confirmation on the spot.

1.4. Selected candidates must confirm their participation within the given timeframe. Failure to confirm attendance may result in forfeiture of the funded opportunity.

2. Non-Refundable Application Fee

2.1. Applicants under the Fully Funded Category must pay a non-refundable application processing fee during submission.

2.2. The application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Failure to be selected for the Fully Funded Category.
• Withdrawal of application by the applicant.
• Changes in event dates, venue, format, or cancellation.

2.3. By submitting your application and completing the payment, you acknowledge that no refunds will be issued for any reason.

3. Event Modifications, Postponement, and Cancellation

3.1. OGPD reserves the right to amend, reschedule, or cancel the World Leaders Convention 2025 due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, travel restrictions, or political events.

3.2. In the event of any changes, applicants will be notified using the contact details provided during application submission.

3.3. OGPD is not liable for any financial losses or additional costs incurred by applicants due to modifications, postponements, or cancellations.

4. Travel and Participation Requirements

4.1. Fully Funded participants will receive round-trip travel arrangements and accommodations as per the organizers’ policies.

4.2. Participants are responsible for securing necessary visas or travel permits. The organizers will provide supporting documentation i.e. invitation letter, but will not be held liable for visa rejections or travel disruptions.

4.3. Selected participants must attend all scheduled sessions, activities, and discussions throughout the event. Non-compliance may result in the forfeiture of benefits and disqualification from the program.

5. Media Consent and Publicity Rights

5.1. By attending World Leaders Convention 2025, you grant OGPD, its partners, and affiliates the right to capture photographs and video recordings of you during the event.

5.2. These materials may be used for promotional, marketing, and PR purposes in future OGPD events through various media channels, including print, digital platforms, and social media.

5.3. By accepting these terms, you agree that:

• Once your images or videos are published, OGPD is not obligated to remove them upon request.
• Requests to exclude future use of your photographs or recordings will be considered at OGPD’s discretion but will not apply retroactively.
• You waive any rights to review, approve, or claim compensation for the use of your likeness in promotional materials.

6. Code of Conduct

6.1. All participants must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully, following the rules and guidelines set by OGPD.

6.2. Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in immediate expulsion from the event, forfeiture of benefits, and exclusion from future OGPD events.

6.3. Participants are liable for any damages caused to event property and may be required to compensate for repair or replacement costs.

7. Liability and Disclaimer

7.1. OGPD is not responsible for personal injury, loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings during the event.

7.2. Participants are encouraged to arrange personal travel insurance covering unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, travel disruptions, or lost luggage.

7.3. The organizers are not liable for any legal, travel-related, or personal consequences resulting from participants’ actions.

8. Force Majeure

8.1. OGPD shall not be held liable for delays or failure to fulfill obligations due to unforeseen events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government actions, or other force majeure events.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

9.1. By submitting an application, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data by OGPD for event management and communication purposes.

9.2. Personal data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where necessary for event operations.

10. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

10.1. By submitting your application for the World Leaders Convention 2025, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

10.2. Acceptance of these Terms is mandatory for participation. Failure to comply with any provisions may result in disqualification from the event.
