About World Leaders Convention 2027
Following the remarkable success of the World Leaders Convention in Madrid, Spain (2025) and Brussels, Belgium (2026), the third edition builds on a growing legacy of empowering emerging leaders through leadership development, global dialogue, and cross-cultural collaboration. Organized by the Organization for Global Policy & Dialogue (OGPD), World Leaders Convention 2027 will take place in Vienna, Austria, a city renowned for its legacy of diplomacy, international cooperation, and cultural heritage.
From February 03–07, 2027, the convention will bring together students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers, educators, and emerging leaders from around the world. Through inspiring keynote addresses, interactive workshops, policy dialogues, and international networking opportunities, participants will exchange ideas, build meaningful partnerships, strengthen their leadership capacity, and collaborate on innovative solutions to today’s most pressing global challenges.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply
World Leaders Convention 2027 welcomes applications from aspiring leaders, students, innovators, and changemakers who are passionate about leadership, international cooperation, and creating positive impact in their communities and beyond.
- Be between 17 and 40 years of age at the time of the convention.
- Demonstrate an interest in leadership, public policy, diplomacy, governance, innovation, entrepreneurship, or sustainable development.
- WLC 2027 is open to individuals from all academic and professional backgrounds.
- Show enthusiasm for learning, personal growth, and engaging in meaningful international dialogue.
- Be willing to collaborate, exchange ideas, and contribute to cross-cultural discussions.
- Possess a good command of English, as all sessions will be conducted in English.
- Be committed to actively participating throughout the full duration of the convention.

The World Leaders Convention 2025, hosted by the Organisation for Global Policy & Dialogue (OGPD), was much more than an event, it was a soulful gathering of individuals driven by purpose. I had the honour of speaking on “Ayurveda”. To stand in front of global change-makers and speak about holistic healing from an Indian lens was both humbling and empowering.
Thanks to the speakers, Senator Tanya Vyhovsky’s grassroots approach to leadership, Wakawaka Doctor’s insight for travel and migration, Reham Shalaan’s insights on health systems, Corrine Tucker’s work on education reform, Human Rights + Sustainable development insights, Tracy Saad’s lens on cultural leadership, and Fawad Afridi’s dedication to unlocking global scholarship opportunities each one of them contributed immensely to the collective energy of the convention. This was my first international tour, and every bit of it was worth it. I return home with a heart full of gratitude, friends across the globe, and the strong belief that peace begins from within but must radiate outward.

WLC 2027 welcomes applications from passionate individuals worldwide, including students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers, educators, civil society representatives, and aspiring leaders interested in leadership, global governance, diplomacy, innovation, and sustainable development.
Yes. The Fully Funded category requires a non-refundable and non-transferable application fee. This fee remains non-refundable regardless of the selection outcome.
Yes. All delegates who successfully participate in the World Leaders Convention 2027 will receive a Certificate of Participation recognizing their engagement and contribution throughout the convention.
Applications under the Self-Funded and Forum Access Pass categories are typically processed within 2–3 working days after successful submission. Fully Funded and Partially Funded applications undergo a competitive evaluation process, with results announced after the application deadline.
WLC 2027 offers 20 Fully Funded and 30 Partially Funded opportunities. Applicants only need to apply once under the Fully Funded category to be automatically considered for both funding opportunities during the evaluation process.
WLC 2027 offers an exceptional international platform where delegates will participate in leadership development sessions, policy discussions, interactive workshops, keynote addresses, and cross-cultural networking. The convention is designed to equip participants with practical leadership skills, global perspectives, and lasting international connections.
No. IELTS, TOEFL, or any other English language certification is not required. However, participants should have a reasonable command of English, as all convention activities will be conducted in English.
Yes. You may submit your application without a passport. However, applicants are encouraged to obtain one as early as possible to avoid delays with visa processing and international travel if selected.
No. Previous leadership experience is not mandatory. WLC 2027 welcomes individuals with a genuine passion for leadership, learning, and creating positive impact, regardless of their level of experience.
